STEM is a blended curriculum that provides hands-on learning on Science, Technology , Engineering and Mathematics in order to achieve the 21st century skill set.

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM-based education teaches children more than science and mathematics concepts. The focus is on hands-on interactive learning with real-world applications.

STEM was initially introduced in America. But now its widespread all over the world including Canada, Australia, Singapore, India and many other first world countries.

The goal of SciTech Academy of bringing STEM in Bangladesh is to reduce the work force skill gap by initializing necessary 21st-century skillset into children through STEM education for better future. To practice interactive learning rather than memorizing concepts the tendency that is traditionally found over the students here in their education system.

The students will learn a variety of skill sets, including creativity and 21st-century skills. Other skills attained through STEM education include problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, decision making, leadership, entrepreneurship, acceptance of failure and more.

SciTech Academy has “EDVOCATE ( https://edvocate.com.au) as global partner who already has years of experience in working at the field of STEM in Australia. EDVOCATE has also been the partner in training the educators of SciTech Academy.

We follow the global curriculum from “EDVOCATE” along with creating curriculum by our own talented team members maintaining the global standard of STEM curriculum.

Our educators are a bunch of talented young people who like working with a challenge to make positive impact in the society. Each of the educator is qualified and has experience in working with children and technology. They are also trained by our global partner to be eligible to run STEM classes.

Any kid aged between 6-14 years old can join STEM classes. We have separate curriculum for Junior (6 to 10 years) and Senior (11 to 14 years) age groups.

It is more like a extracurricular activity based education practice to gain more real life knowledge on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

We have our own education centre at Gulshan-2. Along with that we provide after school STEM classes at Sir John Wilson School and Aurora International School. We are in terms of reaching out to more and more schools to spread STEM education nationwide.

The duration of each course is 3 months. Multiple courses are offered.

The course will not have any exam other than a project that the students have to do themselves along with various activities in every class. At the end of the course a student profile will be shared that will have the overall performance record of each student highlighting his areas of interest

Initially we are offering everyone to complete the STEM Fundamental Course for the basic knowledge then the students can proceed to Programming, Robotics or Environmental Science Courses depending on their interest.

No, We provide everything from stationaries to devices that is needed in the class.
